The Parish Education Committee (PEC) is comprised of seven parishioners, five elected and two appointed by the pastor. The PEC's role is to assist the pastor in the operation of the school. This highlights the close relationship of the school to the parish and its parishioners. The committee also includes the pastor, the principal, and a teacher representative. The PEC is tasked with carrying out the policies of the CISVA (Catholic Independent Schools of the Vancouver Archdiocese) as well as setting local policies for the school community. Additionally, the PEC must pass a monthly budget, set yearly tuition fees, run the parent participation program, and oversee the general fundraising for the school. The committee meets monthly during the school year.
The PPC is an advisory group to the Pastor in all aspects of Parish life.
Members are appointed through general elections and/or by the Pastor.
